  2. None of the above. One is to the right, one is to the left, & the other one used to be news w/Pierce Morgan. Plus, it's fear, fear, fear..scare tactics & scare tactics no matter where in the political spectrum.

  3. ESPN.
And I can't STAND Fox News....because it's just a shill for the GOP. And please spare me the crap about the "mainstream" networks being liberal/Obama tools. All of them today were reporting about the dismal economic indicators and possible Recession--saying this is bad news for the Obama campaign.

If the nets were Dem Shills, there's no way they'd do this angle. Meanwhile, FOX continously tries to downplay the idiotic "Rape" statements from Akin--instead blaming Liberals for making it an issue.

    No, I'm not a liberal Dem. I'm a political agnostic: I can't STAND the tree-hugging/illegal immigrant-loving Left...or the Anti-Minority/Religious-zealot Right.

They can BOTH go to Hell...(that is, if there IS such a place.)

    1. Not true at all about FOX downplaying the Akin statement. Pundits and columnists alike are calling for the guy to drop out and questioning his sources. Next time get it right.

      Delete
    2. Yep. The GOP leadership and Roomney have asked him to drop out.

      Delete
    3. They're calling for Akin drop out for strategic purposes. Never heard of Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter, huh.

  4. History, Discovery, CNBC & CSN California(even though they are too cheap to televise A's weekday home games and force me to watch pirate streams on the internet like I did Wednesday)

  5. I only tune in to CNN to see if there are any breaking news (REAL breaking news). I enjoy watching Brooke Baldwin and her yummy legs. Wolf Blitzer bores me to tears. Pundit political shows were fun when I was a naive high school kid. I then realized they are all bogus and just hot air, which is why I enjoyed Fareed Zakaria's fall from grace so much. I never watch the other two networks. I used to periodically check out Glen Beck on Fox which made Michael Savage's attacks on Beck even funnier. I also used to tune in to Mike Huckabee's show to watch him play the guitar and amuse myself watching his 99.9% white audience

  6. I watch cable more than the Old Big Three. Mainly CNN and MSNBC. Yep, I am not a right-winger, though I once was. I like Morning Joe, Rachel, Chris, Anderson, Erin, Wolfe, Pierce.

  7. My man-friend, a celebrated "cool" blues musician, is glued to the BOOK CHANNEL on weekends.

I must admit, it's great stuff!

  8. AMC to watch Mad Men.
    CSN to watch Giants.
    TCM to watch old movies.
    TBS to watch Conan.

Used to watch CNN Headline for a quick catchup on the news, but they've stopped doing news these days. Sigh!!

  9. How about NONE of the above? I got rid of cable when the digital switchover came about. I get full HD OVER THE AIR whereas, with cable, it is a PREMIUM service costing over $100 a month. Right now, I pick up over 50 channels over the air. I have convinced my neighbors as many of them have also gotten rid of their cable or satellite dishes and gone with over the air antenna. By the way, I also discovered that even though I did buy one of those so called rooftop HD antennas, that I actually pick up more channels using the still existing old-timey rooftop antenna from the 1950's, than I do with the new HD antenna! How crazy is that???

    1. My aren't we smug. Your cheapness is depriving you of some very good content.

      Delete
    2. Sure. There are some good channels on cable/satellite, but honestly, are they worth spending over $100 a month to watch? C'mon now, over $100 a month to WATCH TV??? And try scanning your tv's local channels and as I said, there are over 50 channels out there depending on where you reside, and there is some good content out there that is NOT on cable, despite there being laws about local cable carrying local channels. For example, channel ONE in San Jose [yes America, there IS a channel one!] has almost 15 different channels by itself, such as 1.1, 1.2, etc. I personally like channel 1.8 myself.

    3. The digital over the air waves switchover was a terrible thing. The UHF and VHF signals are far superior. It was done to force people into switching to cable or satellite. I've tried to set up the digital system for many people and the signals are horrible, cutting in and out, freezing, etc. Plus the channels you do get are unwatchable.
I have only the internet for any "tv" content.

    1. With all due respect, you must be an idiot. Faux News and all their so-called "talent" is pure GOP propaganda. 24/7 of Obama bashing is getting quite old. You need to change channels before you lose what few brain cells you have left.

    2. I hope you are not serious... Propaganda sprinkled with short skirts, bright lights and fancy graphics doesn't qualify as news. It's Entertainment disguised as news

    1. Huh? Never gonna happen. Romney has to be the worse candidate for POTUS since John McCain.

    2. You gotta love these Romney supporters. They try really, really hard to get excited for milk toast Romney. Michael Savage had the best line. He said Romney is white bread and to add flavor to the white bread they added white rice (Paul Ryan) hahaha! Anybody else find it hilarious that Savage ”THE INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE” always ends up supporting the nominated repub? Bush twice, Mccain and now Romney....

  12. I use to like Morning Joe, but havent even tried to watch it in a few months. I'll check CNN for one or two minutes at the top of the hour if I want to know if anything is going on. Like a prior post, I find myself watch Cspan channels on the weekend (History and Book TV).

  13. NFL Network, NHL Network, MLB Network (when they have Dodgers games and pick up the Fox Sports LA feed with Vin Scully -- best announcer in baseball and way better than the fat and pompous baldy with the Giants) and ESPN News. Regular ESPN is too gimmicky. CSN is too much of a biased mouthpiece for their teams. The other alphabet soups (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC) just yak and yak and yak. Too bad CNN Headline News doesn't do what they used to do: half-hour news blocks. It may be repetitive in that vein, but that's OK. It served a purpose. I guess it does now, but to brainless lemmings.

    1. Why mention "baldy" Giants announcer and not mention "red toupee" when talking Scully?

  14. I never used cable as such, but when internet came available I signed up for it via Comcast. Although Comcast tried to get me on cable but I refused since I can pretty much get everything I want on their best High speed internet offering. That even includes Radio & TV etc.

    1. CNN is failing in the ratings like California is failing as a state. I've come to learn it's what you get when the Left controls anything. Let's give everything and anything we can to illegal's so they will continue to vote us into office! What? What about people who have paid taxes into the system and whose relatives have been here for generations and paid taxes for anything and everything? F them! We need votes!

    2. But Fox News is how God intended!

  16. CNN for breaking news and hysteria (and occasional yuks) and for Soledad O'Brian. Her interview with Sununu was hilarious. MSNBC for Maddow who is about the smartest person out there.

  17. NFL Network
    Comedy Central for Tosh.O
As for news None of the Above!!! Fox is the absolute worst with MSNBC running a close second. If there was an emergency or a important story I would go to CNN just for information. Debate and opinion I couldn't care less about. I'm a reader and have given up on television such a wasteland. Radio well that's a story for another day...

  20. FOX - O'Reilly (he has 50% or more - Democrat guests!)
FOX - the other guy - Brett Bair?
FOX - Hannity - only for 5 minutes, he gets whiny

MSNBC - I watch Matthews to watch him say silly stuff like "I had a thrill go up my leg" about Obama; but he's like Hannity, but winey from the Left
MSNBC - Maddow - but I can only take 3 minutes of her wacko routine and weak sauce Republican guests
CNN - more often than in the past
BBC - once or twice a week

Local stations - I only look for local stories, and if they don't interest me, I flip to the History Channel, FOX or elsewhere

  24. I despise all TV news, broadcast and cable due the sensationalism the lowbrow stories, the stupidity, the bias. I read the news on the net. At least Fox is center-right rather than hard-left. Less bias. The only thing I ever watch is the round table discussions with Baer and Krauthammer et al.

  25. I gotta confess! In spite of the fact that the Fox News Channel is my all time favorite, I gotta check out Rachel Maddow! Even though she's nuttier than a fruitcake, I gotta watch her! 28. It's so obvious that [MS]NBC take their talking points from the White House. They are nothing but obama stooges. ABC/CBS/CNN lean left and FOX leans right. It's also obvious that the extreme left (MSNBC, NBC) support the mean spirited, personal attacks that are relentless against conservatives. So much for respectful debate. It's all about class warfare and the welfare state.

Don't ask what you can do for your country, ask what your country can do for you! Obama is the anti-Kennedy. And to think Ted must be rolling in his grave for supporting obama after the last disgraceful four years.

  30. Likes: Monk when it was on USA, Dangerous Catch on Discovery, Criminal Intent on KOFY13, Modern Marvels on History, Flying Wild Alaska (Because the scenery, including Ariel, is so nice). Watch all the cable news channels, though less so for Fox. Their straight up grossness find it's zenith in Sean Hannity, who, like Rush, just looks the other way for any Republican sins, and spins like crazy. Despite all the hatred directed her way by the likes of Rush Limbaugh Rachael Maddow does her homework, and thus a pretty good job. CNN news still has the best overseas reporting, though often slanted through narrow vision of Anderson Cooper. If I need instant news about world-wide events, it's CNN Headline News first, then Fox. Although Fox is biased, their at least cover Israel with a modicum of civility. I wish both sides of the cable networks would just own up to their biases, and shed any illusions of neutrality, and package/promote their "news" for the opinions/editorializing that they are. Despite the wrath that the right heaps upon Walter Cronkite, he, like his professional peers (Roger Mudd, Huntley & Brinkley, Eric Sevareid, Harry Reasoner, et al) did maintain a semblance of neutrality and even-handedness. With the likes of the self-absorbed Katie Courics', that's all gone. (She's so smarmy it makes me ill) (Elizabeth Vargas beats her hands down, and deserves more credit) The networks have lost their edge, with stale sit-coms and lifeless programming. Into that void has stepped USA, TNT, History, Discovery, ESPN, and others. Times change, and the Big Networks have, largely, failed to adapt!

  31. I mainly watch MHz Worldview on cable. It has Russia Today, The Afghan Report, Al Jazeera, BBC News, and half hour news shows from Japan, Korea, etc. A most excellent station for getting a world view on news and politics. It's my favorite cable outlet, as they also show international mysteries from Italy, Sweden, France and the like. We tevo Elliot Spitzer's show on Current TV, and usually have MSNBC on for background (since I don't bother with the radio much any more for news of substance). We don't watch any local or network news, only cable.
