  10. Make it good, Rich! I want to be SHOCKED like Melanie Morgan seems to be every morning.
"Brian, I am Shocked. I am OUTRAGED..." lol

Love Brian and Katie Green but Melanie is such a Simpleton. She actually reduces the intelligence in the studio. Poor Brian and Katie...

    1. I hardly ever listen to Melanie and Brian, can't stand Brian, he is such a nerd and so predictable, I actually think Melanie is the brighter of the two, use to listen to her when it was Melanie and Lee Rogers, didn't agree with them, but found both to be intelligent, and Lee was not afraid to critizie republicans, I think Brian is, or he is just not an independent thinker, seems to me he is mostly tea party talking point. To quote Michael Savage (who I don't much care for either) demoncrats bad, republicans good, when he makes fun of the repulicans. At least Savage can think for himself, and as far as I can tell, he doesen't like very many people at all.

    2. Who are Melanie and Brian?

Oh, it's just me, the simple person who tunes into the radio that works for me!

  11. Heard from an associate that Henry Tenenbaum was let go at KRON, last day later this month...another one bites the dust at the dustiest station in town.

    1. If true then that is an outrage. Tenenbaum's shirtless number on the New Year's Eve telecast a few years back was an instant classic. How does Captain Hook Ratsnitch keep holding on!?!?!?

    2. Henry??..no way. He's a KRON icon. They can't pay him enough for his hard work to sell appliances.

  12. KSFO: I would like to see Melanie Morgan and J.D.Hayworth doing that show. When J.D. was filling in for Brian, the 2 really had their shit together. Brian can go out and sell his book.

    1. Brian Sussman is a poor imitation of the best of right wing radio. He is like a knockoff Rolex you buy in Tijuana for $20. So bad and so fake you may tune in just to laugh at him. His pseudo intellectual schtick is worn off.

  13. Melanie, 'the meanie' is a strange bird. She is married to former KGO executive Jack Swanson, but give her some credit for having the 'chops' to do a reasonably good job as a talkshow host.

Still, when I listen to her I hear a rude person who is intractable in her opinions and predictable and self righteous. Melanie likes to insult people for the sake of getting attention
(as do a lot of talk show hosts unfortunately!) and she's made it clear that she believe the late Senator Joe McCarthy was a great man. (even though this guy helped to perpetuate the 'blacklist,' with lies and smears which led to one of the most disgraceful periods of American history.

I also remember how thrilled she was when Sarah Palin was slected at the GOP VP candidate by John 'McBrilliant,'
(as Russ Limbaugh called John McCain after his choice of tabbing Palin) It's frightening to imagine that this doltish woman could have been just a heart beat away from the presidency.

Isn't it amazing that millions of voting Americans actually
wanted Sarah Palin, a naive, semi-educated, unworldly twit as their Vice President? Well upon further reflection, I guess not, because this is the same country that elected Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, and Ronald Reagan by landslide margins. They all turned out so well didn't they? These fools were all big heroes of Melanie.

Yeah, I know Reagan fans will take issue...but ever hear what Reagan said about unemployment insurance? "I don't feel like giving someone a two-week paid vacation. They should go out and get a job!" Or how about:
"You've seen one Redwood tree and you've seen them all," when some complained about the destructive practice of clear cutting forests back in the 1960s. And finally my favorite: "I don't know anything about what Oliver North did with the Contras, I didn't have anything to do with approving that!" This was before he finally admitted he made a mistake of giving the okay to the Iran/Contra deal, a fiasco that would have forced most presidents to resign...but not dear old 'Ronnie,' because he was such an upstanding, good guy!

Oh, and a great record, trying to overturn hard earned civil rights legislation and protection for workers in the 1980s. And Reagan started the trend of approving of the deregulation of many industries in the early 1980s. This short sided thinking led to the massive consolidation and the layoffs we're now seeing in many industries today, (including the massive recent cuts we've seen in the radio industry as it 'dumbs down; and downsizes it's 'product,' (as the beancounters like to refer to radio).

Yeah, Melanie Reagan was such an inspiring, great world leader. Oh, and I almost forgot, Ronnie-baby laid a wreath honoring German war dead, and it turned out there were members of the dreaded SS lying in the graves below the wreaths he laid (and he knew this ahead of time!) Inspiring Republican leadership. And 50 percent of Americans still think he is a great man...what are they smoking or drinking? I guess they think that deregulation is good, that cutting down virgin forests is necessary, and that
circumventing the congress and the senate is permissable.

Glad good old Melanie sure knows how to pick her heroes! And please don't start calling me a bleeding heart, blue-state liberal.
Those guys are a bunch of meek, panty-waists who get bullied and cowed by the Republicans, and are constantly giving in. Pathetic!
