Watkowski Silva in as News VP at KGO-TV; Replaces Kevin Keeshan
Tracey Watkowski Silva has been named VP of News at KGO-TV, (ABC7), replacing the recently departed Kevin Keeshan.
Watkowski-Silva is currently the ND at Fresno's KFSN and was a former assistant news director at the SF O and O.

ReplyDeleteWho Cares!? The fact that this woman comes to the bay area from Fresno shows you the weak quality that local TV news has fallen to lately!
ReplyDeleteShe got her chops in the Bay Area and was here for many years, including as Assistant News Director at ABC. Clearly, after working closely with the news team in the past, they felt she was the best person for the position. Best of luck!
ReplyDeleteShe won't last. Her "best" days were ten years ago when she was considered a rising star. The big shots in the industry looked at her and went elsewhere. KGO now has "weak" leadership living off good decisions made 20-years ago.
