Just turn the dial. Go to the BBC. Try satellite. Avoid KGONE and this horrible NY hack-job woman. She's an embarrassment.
Where did they find her? Whose friend is she? Does she do any other radio besides KGO? She must really need the work to do this from 1am - 4am NY time. Besides being a comic, does she have a job? Unbelievable!!

ReplyDeleteIt is such a slap in the face to put a NY "comedian" in SF talk radio. It would be the equivalent of putting Brian "I am depressed" Copeland live from SF on NY radio. There would be riots on the streets of NY if such a hack from SF was pipping into their airwaves. I spit on you Paul Hosely and Jared Hart. I can not believe I am listening to Big Foot radio all thanks to your incompetence.

DeleteRich, here's an idea that could fix 910's signal problems. CC should knock on Harold Camping's door and inquire about an outright purchase of 610 AM. The former KFRC's non-directional 5kW signal (day and night) would give CC's fledgling talk format a fighting chance against the "big boys" and CC could then move the 960 format to 910 (as bad as the 910 signal is, it's worlds better than 960). What do with 960? Donate it to some local non-profit outfit that wants a "community radio station". Harold Camping is how old? He's pretty close to having one foot in the grave and the other one on a banana peel. He could get a nice price for 610 and that would help his ministry financially. That's my 2 cents.
ReplyDeleteI have listened to KGO for a long time and never have I heard a person who is so out of touch with listeners and just seems to be uneducated, she was simply uninteresting. This was a good weekend for KGO too, thankfully Copeland was off and Stacy did well filling in for him. Monty had the best show I have heard on KGO and keeps getting the best guests with this Black Panther guy yesterday and the very smart Jeanne Woodford Saturday but the cooking show and this awful woman hang a cloud over the good things happening there

ReplyDeleteAfter listening to flat-earther, climate-change denier Brian Sussman's response to Alec Baldwin this morning, I think we should start a Dumbass Dope of the Day for talk-show hosts, including liberals and libertarians.
Sussman or someone similar called me a "phony F***" regarding my claim of being conservative recently and enjoying listening to Karel (I also enjoy Savage), proving how myopic and ignorant these nutty pseudo conservatives are.
For the persons attacking me for my views as a conservative, I suppose it doesn't matter that until I stopped voting in 2008, I voted for every single Republican presidential candidate since 1978. However, in 2008 I could not support a ticket featuring an airhead as a potential VP.
I also guess it doesn't matter that I've voted 98 percent Republican in my lifetime and that the only party I ever joined was Republican.
After nearly a quarter century in media with plenty of published work as a conservative, and with plenty of citations by Republicans in the several areas where my published works circulated, I suppose my conservative credo just doesn't make the Tea Party demagogic cut.
Alas, my conservatism just isn't pure enough, causing Brian The Brainless Sussman and Melanie The Meanie Morgan to regard conservatives like me as "phony" (Melanie uses this word quite often, hmmmmm) "f**ks."
If you are conservatives and believe in climate change and that humans affect it, it just ain't good enough for the pure red, white and blue Americans like Melanie Morgan and Brian Sussman.
Sussman and Morgan showed their complete ignorance about race this morning with their idiotic commentary on the homicide of Trevon Martin. Sussman was so hostile to a caller to deserve suspension. If George Zimmerman was getting his ass kissed by Mr. Martin, too bad. He was stalking Trevon, who may have thought his life was in danger. When the wimp known as Mr. Zimmerman was getting his ass kicked, he fired his gun like a coward. A coward who was told by the police deparment NOT to follow Trevon.
And, no, Melanie Morgan and Brian Sussman, few people are making the homicide of Trevon Martin out to be white on black. And, Melanie, Hispanics, Asians, Caucasians, etc. can all be racist. Duh. It is a case of a racist's actions resulting in the homicide of an innocent. (I don't say murder because that is a legal ruling that can only be rendered in a court of law.)
With regard to environmentalists, I'll agree with Sussman on one thing: some environmental organizations are tyrannical. I battled them for years, and I'm also not an Alec Baldwin fan.
However, Sussman's views about climate change are akin to the those who have denied science in the past. Climate change is always occurring, and to insist it is not affected by human activity is moronic.
I listen to KSFO because I'm hoping that someday reasonable conservative thought will be offered and the Tea Party nutcases get axed.
Sorry this is so long, but they are pathetic, and free-thinking conservatives need a better conservative alternative than that offered by syndicated shows like the equally repugnant Glenn Beck, and dumbass conservatives like Melanie The Meanie Morgan and Brian The Brainless Sussman.
Amen to everything you said! Unfortunately I go to bed listening to the UFO show and when I wake up those two phonies are on. They are so predictable one trick ponies. I'd spend more time bashing them but you did an excellent job. Sussman sounded like a giddy star struck buffoon gushing about how Baldwin replied to him on Twitter. What a loser!
