The whole act is so 1988, who cares. She has always been style over substance, but as well choreographed as her show was, it was really bland & boring. How about a new rule: actual singers, not divas?.
I pine for the days of when Carol Channing was the half time show. Its all gone down hill ever since.
No. Not really. The Material Madge did just fine. She was there to entertain, not sing live, and the demo for the Super Bowl has to go beyond what the hardcore football fan wants.
Norse Madonna miming the "Trapped in a Box" routine????
ReplyDeleteI guess Lady Gaga will now think it's cool to lip sync.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Justin Guarini working again, he's pretty good with that wire act.
ReplyDeleteActually Madonna playing Elizabeth Taylor playing Cleopatra. The setting was nearly identical to the movie scene from Taylor's 1960's mega-movie.
ReplyDeleteRich you can insult my station and make fun of anyone you want.. but leave the great Madonna alone or we'll come for you in the night! ;)
P.S. No one should be able to say anything negative about the "material girl" unless you make a video showing you can dance as well at age 53!
Careful, Rich. Your ego's showing.
ReplyDeleteAfter the third spotter assisted slo mo cartwheel on the bleachers I was gone. The half time show was a yawn..

ReplyDeleteMel, there are a LOT of reasons people should say negative things against that woman who was featured in the halftime show yesterday.
ReplyDeleteA huge ego, with NO sense of humor, and even less talent, for one...
