Considering the shit-hits-the-fan day at KGO, with Cumulus conducting its human reduction sale, maybe the Macdonald bizarro was apropos.Then again, Macdonald may have been trying to wack out to sell a few tickets to his show, (apparently, lots of seats available), and you know the routine, act crazy on local radio and get the Charlie Sheen crowd.
Either way, intentional or not, Macdonald sounded looped.
Maybe Owens loaned him a Sleeptrain mattress.

No, he wasn't. Norm suffers from insomnia. He hadn't slept in four days. He'd tweeted about this prior to the day of the interview.

If you listen to the segment, he sounds tired. But, he is articulate and polite. For whatever reason, Owens decided the guy looked stoned, and he was condescending and rude. Also, he seemed to expect Norm to perform stand-up for him as he asked all the same boring questions Norm is asked in every interview.

Guys been doing radio shows for how long and doesn't realize that many comedians are really strapped for sleep when they need to fly redeye to hit their next appointment, such as an interview on KGO radio?

My guess is that there are a lot of unhappy, frustrated, angry people out there who just don't like the direction the world is headed at the moment. I see it on the freeway everyday, where people are complete jerks, cutting each other off and flipping the bird to each other as they rush off in a frenzy to get somewhere ten minutes earlier than the next guy.

Downey wants America to forgive Gibson because Gibson stuck by him turn Downey's bad years. And Downey feels he got a second chance and feels Gibson might be deserving of one as well. In the old days, being a "Liberal" meant being more tolerant and forgiving. So maybe Downey is just being an old school Liberal in that regard?

I don't know what Gibson's current views are. If he still believes the crap he was spouting, then send him on his way. If he realizes his problems and errors, is getting an education away from the lies his father gave him, cleaning up the booze and anger issues, and is working on a mea culpa, then it will be up to each person out there to decide if he is worth redeeming.
In Liberal Hollywood, apparently many have given a pass to Woody Allen (cheated on wife Mia, slept with and married his daughter) and Roman Polanski (rapist of underaged girls) and yet for some, like reviewer Jeffrey Lyons who boycotts Gibson's films, Gibson has done the ULTIMATE sin by talking bad about Jews.
Redemption. Tolerance. Surprising to hear it from new Conservative Downey jr. and NOT from the Liberal side like Anon 6:16 and Lyons. Just goes to show you there are intolerant people on BOTH sides of the political aisle.

The jackass interviewing doesn't know what respect is and has no clue how to interview someone of his caliber in the first place.
