Could the Raiders be 'Flexed? If Team beats Pitt, NBC might switch Miami/Indy Games to Primetime

The Raiders have played themselves into the high probability of the NFL's "Flex Schedule."

That would mean either their home game against the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 28 or the Indy Colts game on Dec. 26 would be moved from the original 1: 05 PM local start time to a 5: 30 PM prime time appearence on NBC's Sunday night package. ("Football Night in America")

The "flex schedule" begins from the NFL's week 11, (this Sunday) until week 17.

The Raiders have never been flexed.

Of course, for all of this to occur, it would help if the Silver and Black beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Heinz Field.

No doubt NBC would relish scheduling a Raiders-Miami encounter or better yet, the Colts game the day after Christmas, (Chargers-Bengals originally scheduled on NBC would be moved) as the Raiders remain a "national team," in spite of their past eight years un-glorious-ness on the field.

UPDATE: Per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, the Nov. 28 Chargers-Colts will not be flexed, therefore the Raiders-Colts day-after-Christmas contest is the most likely chance of an Oakland game on NBC primetime.
