OK, So The Giants Bandwagon Express pisses me off--Sue Me

I'll admit.

More of an A's fan. At least we won something. (Insert first nasty e-mail)

Actually, I don't mind Giants fans, the loyal souls who for years endured Candlestick and its assorted misery, it's the bigtime bandwagon express and your Bay Area media is mired in all of this crap.

The morons on Twitter from their office cubicles tweeting a "WouWou!!--Go Giants!", hell yes, that bothers me. I mean, look, you really, really love the Giants, (now, for the first time in many moons) there's at least decent ways to pretend how NOT to be a bandwagoneer.

*For starters, can we put a moratorium on ALL media people on TV NOT be allowed to wear Tim Lincecum's jersey? Please.

**No weather guesser is allowed to do live shot from the AT&T ballpark. (Roberta Gonzales excepted)

**No sports reporter is allowed to post "misery"updates on Facebook having to cover the post-game clubhouse scene where nutty nude guys like Aubrey Huff are spraying champagne. (Yeah, tough life, we feel for you)

**The first female non-sports media figure who utters a "Go Giants" more than once shall be sentenced to a week in Lodi.

**Any media maven doing the proverbial "How much money is SF making" story while the Giants make their way to the World Series has to view all KRON's infomercials, morning, noon, and night. (Including weekends) Why are we barraged with this chamber of commerce crap? It doesn't take a Harvard grad to figure out that, yeah, more Giants post-season games, more $$ for the bars, restaurants and hotels in town, thanks for educating us.

^I'm as thrilled as anyone else that the beloved 415 boys of summer appear headed to the World Series and yes, even moi, "Mister Oakland A's" is happy, GO GIANTS!!, (see, I'm cool) It's the idiots who invent songs on YouTube, who suddenly appear in Giants gear, who bother the hell out of me and yes, it's time to move to the next subject.

GO GIANTS!!!! -----GO GIANTS! (I feel cleansed)

  2. Whats wrong with bandwagoneering? Whats the point of NOT being on one? That you like misery and losing? I dont.
