'What's wrong with Lincecum?'; KNBR, blogs, react to Giants' Sunday

The Giants lost Sunday. Lost a series too, to the San Diego Padres no less, who looked remarkably crisp and utterly efficient.

More importantly, Tim Lincecum looked lost and aloof, and made for interesting, compelling views of just what's wrong with him, all the way from the KNBR post-game shows; (both Marty Lurie and Mychael Urban,) to the net, (SF Gate and Henry Schulmans' account,) to most notably, Twitter, where suggestions ranged from nagging Lincecum's dad, Chris, to talk to the lad, to other more noteworthy suggestions that The Freak has a "dead arm."

From my two cents? I think he's tired. (Maybe he should cut the hair?--predictably, the weed issue officially surfaced)

Who knows.

This much is certain.

The Giants still command huge attention in the city, even on a day the 49ers played, albeit an exhibition. And while most of the sports fans here won't ever confuse anyone in, say, NY, Philly, Chicago, SF baseball, Giants style, has a huge following.

Now, about that Lincecum guy.
