The Mehserle Verdict: Guilty of involuntary manslaughter
About what most people thought.
So far, no disturbances in Downtown Oakland, the flatlands and the outer perimeter of the city, but its early.
When the sun sets, we should get a better gauge.

I hope that calm prevails, but I am not terribly optimistic.
ReplyDeleteIt is very sad that this young man lost his life and I feel for his family, but it would serve no purpose if violence were to break out. Murder was unreasonable and I believe the jury made the right decision, it is preposterous to think he would have done this purposely. Calm is the word for the night!
