NFL legend Jim Brown in Oakland tonight; @ Monaghan's for "Amer-I-Can"

KTRB (860 AM) will broadcast from an all-star salute to football Hall of Famer Jim Brown on April 8. Coordinated and produced by Rich "Big Vinny" Lieberman, the tribute, at Monaghan's in Oakland, features Jim Brown, Bob St. Clair, Raymond Chester, Keena Turner, Rick Barry, Vida Blue, Joe Morgan, R.C. Owens, Jim Otto, ...Al Attles, Jimmy Johnson and Willie Brown (da former Raider, not Da Mayor). It'll be a long run of an event, going from 5 to 10 p.m. "Chronicle Live," on Comcast Sportsnet, will originate from the event during the first hour, with Greg Papa hosting, and KTRB's Ken Dito will broadcast from the bash from 6 to 7 p.m. It's a fundraiser for Brown's "Amer-I-Can" program.
