Matt Maiocco goes to Comcast SportsNet; 49ers blogger gets cable gig

Matt Maiocco has apparently left the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat and is headed as a 49ers reporter to Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

Maiocco, who is generally regarded as a top-notch 49ers insider, blogs for the PD, but his blog site is down, (Phil Barber is there now) indicating that the cable gig is confirmed. Maicco all but said so himself, appearing on the KNBR 1050 Damon Bruce show. (Damon, after two kisses to MM, the rest wasn't necessary, but we still love you.)

Good luck to Matt too and congrats to Comcast for picking up an ace.
