You're a good storyteller, which begs the question: why don't you just look her up? Send her a message saying hi and hope she's doing well. You say you don't know her last name but you know her first name and that she was an anchor in the Bay Area when you met her. A basic Google query and you'd have her last name and social media and linked in within 15 seconds. I see no harm in a simple hello.
Diahann Carroll's a babe. You have good taste, Rich. You should call her up and say something like "I just saw a picture of Diahann Carroll and thought of you, so I decided to give you a call"
We come here to get content relevant to media not to watch you blather about a woman you met and never saw again years ago. Stick to business and keep your personal stuff to yourself.
Don’t be an ass. The man just exposed his heart in front of all of us and allowed himself to be vulnerable. Yet you come in here and kick him in the nuts. There was a media angle and it was a great story. Keep it up Rich!
Rich. Look her up call her tell her you thought of her recently and would like, if it's ok with her to go sit and chat like the old days. If she is married or has a guy and doesn't go nothing ventured nothing gained.

Look her up, if it bothers you. Seems it does still. Say hi. Otherwise, kinda pathetic. Cheers.

DeleteWhat a turd comment! The guy can and should show a personal side occasionally. It’s refreshing to me to see that he has one.
ReplyDeleteRich, are you depressed? As a long-time reader of your site, I genuinely hope you're in a good place mentally.
ReplyDeleteI was able to figure out who the anchor was based on clues you provided.
