1. High tone, girl giggle, combo gargle: when he's either mocking someone, something: this is his standard MO.
2. Shouting girl-giggle, half gargle: the most popular. Usually good for two every minute. He used this voice describing Dodger's Bellinger who threw way high last night.
3. All-out goofy high-pitch, girly, double girl: when he's mocking or ridiculing. He used this voice on his rebuke of the Oakland A's and Coliseum state.
4. Dull monotone: occasionally does the straight, monotone dry voice when he tries to be serious as if he knows everything and you don't.
5. The basic straight voice: when he just talks naturally and girly-girl gargle goes to sleep.
6. Outright SCREAMING! gargle, girly, giggle: when he perceives disloyalty and insubordination: when Lund doesn't laugh at his jokes and refuses to utter, "...like you said...as you said..."No doubt, Greg"

ReplyDeleteWhat is with the dislike from so many people in the bay about Papa? The man is a legend and is WAY better than most on the radio. His Rolodex for guests and the way they interact is second to none. I’m curious as to what I don’t see?

ReplyDeleteToday Papa and Lund were bashing Kendrick Perkins for butchering Warriors' #14 draft pick Moses Moody's name on ESPN. After they yucked it up for about a minute, Lund uses the word (and I kid not) "mispronounciation." A little too ironic . . . don't you think?
