Tom Tolbert was back on his KNBR talk show Monday. He misssed all last week in addition to missing the Warriors NBA playoff game last Friday (broadcast on 95.7 FM, "The Game") Tolbert is the color analyst for Warriors home games.
According to 415 MEDIA broadcast sources, Tolbert's absence is not health-related. In 2018, Tolbert had heart surgery but recovered and missed more than a month from his KNBR duties. Tolbert is 55.
I'm told that Tolbert is dealimng with a "family issue" that is "quasi serious", but that it doesn't involve him or his wife, Lorrie.
Tolbert joined KNBR in 1996 and played for the Warriors in the early 1990's.
Maybe his parents, I believe they are both still alive, hope it isn't

ReplyDeleteI hope the best for Tom, whatever the issue is, but the truth of the matter is Rich, nobody cares. KNBR isn't what it use to be . You blogged a story about him and only two people commented. That tells me you need to know. Just saying.
