CNN Wanted Yu Too

Reporter Betty Yu Joins KPIX-KBCW | TVSpy

I LOVE Betty Yu, you know that by now.

Seems I'm not the only one.

415 Media learned through the grapevine CNN also has a fondness for the KPIX reporter. They made a point to contact Yu. Nothing came of it because more than likely Yu loves the Bay Area and probably resisted the idea of going to NY, my best guess. I have no official word on that but I can tell you firsthand CNN waned very badly to get Yu onboard.

I've resisted all this attention from readers as to why I suddenly found Yu. I love her look, her reporting acumen. her ability to warm up and not sacrifice journalistic girth. She's the consummate professional. A real bright spot in the middle of what can be best described as a unkempt facility. Yu supersedes all of that and does so without even blinking an eye.

CNN has great taste. But selfishly, I'm glad Yu chose, for now, to stay here.

    We been watching more local news since we're all stuck at home. I find betty yu very classy, honestly my wife and I think she dress quite fashionable.

    Don't know what you see in Yu -- she reminds me of a yappy little dog. Odd that you would compliment CNN's good taste, given how you feel about Veronica de la Cruz (whom I do like).

    ...and for the fact that she's a HOTT Asian woman, with great reporting skills, but a GREAT LOOK ON-CAMERA, which is where multi-media starts and finishes. Rich? You and I both had faces for newspapers or radio, you know? Take care

    So far, recently...Vicky Nguyen has gone to NBC New York and Sam Brock also at NBC as national reporter... from Bay Area stations. Why not Betty...?
