AT KTVU THURSDAY, all day in fact, they had numerous management personal discussing something of substance; rumors swirled all day that "someone big" was close to being either "retired"; announcing a legit retirement; or just plain leaving. The situation made it here and we continue to monitor.
This much is certain: Fox is already chopping to pieces its LA-owned TV News operation and KTVU here is on its radar. As are all its O and Os because if "The Firm" has a cost-cutting agenda then stay out of its way. And with regard to shedding big-money- making salaries, that is the intention and execution.
Please keep us updated, Rich. This is very important. Reminds me of the time I saw Jan Wahl at Sax’s Joint in Petaluma, running to the bathroom and yelling “Damn Bowels!!”
