However, I use to find them funny and entertaining, and could say the same for Lee and Melanie, although their coverage tended to be more serious. Also it seems like A&G use to have a more libertarian bend, now they have more of a right wing bend. However, where I live now (on the Peninsula) there are few choices these days for an early morning talk show, Sussman (forget it, read Rich's analysis above) Glenn Beck, at times his paranoid of the cliff right wing show can be somewhat entertaining, but not for long, so I switch back between Sussman, Beck and A&G to see who is the most outrageous, it is hard to tell, but usually I can listen to A&G a little longer, than the other two. The long and short of it is that if I miss a few minutes or more of either of these show, I hardly notice it, they are pretty much all background noise. Agree with Eric B above, pretty sad.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4029870750479192711.post-84157926764967068462014-04-07T21:07:07.267-07:002014-04-07T21:07:07.267-07:00Biden is a joke and Hillary is hystericalBiden is a joke and Hillary is hystericalMountain Mavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01576976955563915561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4029870750479192711.post-12092370296850310872014-04-07T20:25:35.059-07:002014-04-07T20:25:35.059-07:00I'd rather listen to a 1-15 Raider season on K...I'd rather listen to a 1-15 Raider season on KGO than listen to Weintraub, Hangin' with Langden, Karel and that stupid ass so called Chef Ryan Scott and his even dumber sidekick Secret Asian Asswipe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4029870750479192711.post-14269417908068431242014-04-07T20:01:53.423-07:002014-04-07T20:01:53.423-07:00There aren't enough adjectives to describes ho...There aren't enough adjectives to describes how bad the Armstrong and Getty Show is. Listening to them is like watching Fox News repeating the same crap day after day no wonder Sacramento is a cow town. So what they are in 3 markets just a cost cutting move to save money. I think it's kind of a bold move even to ask for more money for a product that sucks. And that stupid after show is a direct rip off from the Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM. The A's buy KSFO and the Raiders become the football affiliate. KSFO and the A's would make a bundle. But when companies are allowed to buy as many legacy stations as they want, and strip their once-splendid staffs to mere skeletons, with the majority of the work force being under paid, over worked, naive youngsters under the age of 25, when broadcasting companies hire people who have little or no experience in the profession, when 'consultants' (that's an oxymoron when it comes to broadcasting!) who are basically failed broadcasters are depended upon to render advice to stations, what does that say about the state of broadcasting? Perhaps even more significantly, the general public is getting short-changed, as reliable, credible stations, veteran broadcast journalists, and reliable daily information on the local news is no longer available as it once was. This has led to a dumbing down of our public, and that's a dangerous thing. A lot of people now depend on mega companies such as Fox to provide them with accurate and credible information, and it's absolutely astonishing that people actually put any credence into the tripe that this greedy company spews out on a daily basis. There is also something about a Fox broadcaster that is distinctive: They's usually brassy, from the south or midwest, and the women all seem to look like cheap bimbos. And we have only ourselves to blame for this fiasco by voting, (or not voting at all) in elections for people who are not looking out for our best interests and passed such onerous legislation as the Communications Act of 1996. Hard to believe that someone as enlightened as Bill Clinton would have signed it into law. To this day however, it's one of his worst regrets as a President, but what can we do about it now? Very little! Hate to say I told you so, but I told you so many years ago when I saw this coming after the Communications Act was signed into law. That was a dark day in this country's history, and an even darker day for the free press and for those of us who love the profession of broadcasting. Thanks for bringing this up time and again Rich, to remind many of the naive folks as there, as well as the clogged headed nincompoops who seem to think that companies such as Clear Channel and Cumulus have every right to slash, burn and basically destroy broadcasting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4029870750479192711.post-29068275101290624122014-04-07T10:34:04.084-07:002014-04-07T10:34:04.084-07:00Can't help but notice that 415 Media blog. or ...Can't help but notice that 415 Media blog. or at least the site that hosts 415 Media blog, is not advertising SF Giants ticket sales.

That's really funny considering how often Mr. Lieberman ridicules the SF Giants, Larry Baer, KNBR, Comcast Sports for their marketing of the team.
