Too bad his life ended too soon. He would've kept the band from venturing into the slick David Foster West Coast sound of the 80s.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4029870750479192711.post-51013751121461572802015-01-24T12:09:18.139-08:002015-01-24T12:09:18.139-08:00Kath, Cetera and Lamm....no school like Old School...Kath, Cetera and Lamm....no school like Old School. Hard to believe they will be celebrating their 50th year anniv soon.

Saw them in Concord with Earth Wind and Fire. They combined to do one helluva "I'm a Man" encore....maybe 20 mins.

Saw them in So Lake Tahoe with the Doobies. My favorite song, while long, is "It Better End Soon", where Kath's guitar and beautiful deep voice really come through (along with those great horns and a cool flute). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0dj75PgCboAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4029870750479192711.post-17121212669368282652015-01-24T09:36:52.872-08:002015-01-24T09:36:52.872-08:00One of the greatest bands ever...and my favorite.

Excellent musicians. Sold out in later years, but the early stuff was pretty damn good. Fused horns with Rock. Great band in their day. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
