You see, that way, you don't have to read what causes you so much odd oedipal angst. Your knowledge of what would happen at the "local SPCA" is woeful. Why would you want someone's beloved animal to be caged, get kennel cough, and likely get euthanized? Did you think the East Bay SPCA didn't euthanize older mixed-breed dogs? Did you think they automatically take every dog brought in?
As for posting on all access, I'll do it whenever I want to. My picture is also there, very unanonymously. I think your ear is impaired also. Why would it be "snotty" to point out that despite their obvious, famous differences, Mr. Stern donates lots of time and money to help dogs.He would likely be just as concerned as I am about what happens when people die suddenly and leave animals behind.
As for Rich's radio show and his insistence that Israel is always right, I've done lots of "volunteer" shows for that radio station in the past. I'm not doing more. Rich knows that and his boss knows that. It's no big whup. "I'm only doing what I was told to do." Maybe that's the excuse of the day or moment, but as an observer inside, I assure you, many of us know better. I can name names and should. Many of my friends and associates are down the halls here and I wish not to be singled out. However, too many KGO non-productive staffers take the easy way out and don't shoulder their responsibilities as we should. Many live in a "Let Kevin do it" world, "It's his job." Guess what? It hasn't worked for three years and it's not going to work now with this approach or attitude. Yes, there are problems clusterwide. Not like at KGO. No one is denying he doesn't have a bad sign and there are definitely a number of people in the building who had a very bad experience with him. We only know that because they're not shy about discussing it and Kevin wasn't shy about being who he is.
