  1. My wife and I will be seeing them live in Las Vegas next month, they still sound great live. You've got to see the acts from the 80's while you still can, they're dying too young. Except for David Lee Roth, nobody should waste money on what he's become. Sammy still rocks, but DLR sucks bad.

    1. Roth was always window dressing, the hype man for Van Halen. I give him credit were credit is due. It was self promotion and DLR's vaudevillian approach to add levity to their act, that added another dimension to showcase Ed's otherworldly guitar skills. It worked. Introvert and extrovert. Now, that Ed's gone, rekindling the past with a rental replacement band just exposes its mediocrity. You want to talk about sucking badly and out and out theft? Foreigner. Sammy was an accomplished artist before joining VH and quite frankly, didn't need them. Their collaboration yield some amazing music and glad it happened. Aging is a bitch and for many artists, there's nobody there to tell them that their attempts are nothing more than the "emperor's new clothes". The results can be devastatingly sad. Final note: It's not just the 80's acts that are passing...so is their audience and every year there more empty seats. It is what it is. Enjoy the memories!

  2. Classic 80s jam. Curt and Roland still sound great.
