KCBS already does traffic reports every 10 minutes, so it doesn't need to stay on a traffic snarl story. Taylor Swift is pop culture and spending time to talk about her engagement is fine since it just happened. If they continue to talk about her for days on end, then that would be a problem. I wish Taylor and Travis all the best, but for Travis, I hope he has extreme diarrhea every time he wakes up to play my Raiders.
And did you catch their LEAD news story yesterday (during afternoon drive time) after the top of the hour network news break...a feature phone interview with Warriors owner Joe Lacob to talk about the Valkyries? Went the whole news block before going (late) to the first traffic report of the hour. Nothing breaking as far as news or new information, just a puff (fan) interview by Steve Scott.
