Right-Wing Radio Hits Obama On Ebola; Savage Calls POTUS 'President Ebola'; Out Of Bounds

 SAVAGE: "President Ebola"

LEVIN: "It's (Ebola), Obama's fault."

The rhetoric is heating up and the loads of disinformation and gutter-talk are increasing.

Savage, who I've lauded for the most part, has been attacking Obama relentlessly. Fine, that's fair play.

Referring to the POTUS as "President 'Ebola" is disgusting and out of bounds.

Savage is out of control.

Mark Levin is still shouting and acting like a complete lunatic --Ebola should provide him an extra week's worth of talking points.

    1. Try selling this garbage. Now that KSFO is all of this stuff all the time my expectation is nothing will get sold. Leaving that place was the best decision I have made in a long time. I'm told they're going to cut the weekend hosts and start filling both KGO and KSFO with sold "block programming" that that's what the sales people are now working on. Good luck with that!

  4. Tuned in for a bit to the cabbage nation yesterday. Whiner was mad because Jake Tapper ridiculed him on CNN (deservedly) for stating that Obama is sending troops to West Africa because he wants them to get Ebola and then bring it back to America. Cabbage claims he has a degree in epidemiology. Rich, since you are pals with the Whiner maybe you could ask him to see a copy of his degree? I bet it is not in epidemiology...

    1. Savage likes to say he has a "PhD in epidemiology from Cal Berkeley." I worked at Cal Berkeley for many years. Michael Wiener does not have a PhD from Cal Berkeley in epidemiology. This is not an opinion. This is a fact. I have his email address so maybe I can ask him but I doubt he will answer. The last time I emailed him about a lie he told he wrote back "WHO ARE YOU?!?"

I'm a person with a PhD in a medical field from Cal Berkeley whose wife happens to listen to this drivel

    2. Odd how Jake Tapper made those comments (deservedly so in your eyes) and then later in the day the military stepped up and announced they are going to quarantine all of these soliders. "Whiner" must have been on to something huh? I don't expect you to admit you're wrong, but thanks for commenting.

    3. Thank you for your response Mrs. Cabbage @12:22. How does that response exonerate the Whiner's statement that Obama wants troops to bring back Ebola back to the USA? Honestly the glee on Whiner's voice that Tapper even knew who he is was palpable.

    4. Mrs Cabbage or Mr Cabbage himself. Cute, but predictable comeback. The fact of the matter is you listen to him, he doesn't listen to you. And you were incorrect. Again, as I said, you didnt admit you were wrong.

    5. I listen to him on occasion for amusement. The fact is he doesn't have an epidemiology degree so that's lie number 1. Why should we believe anything that raging lunatic says afterwards? Tapper played the audio. Did you hear it Mrs. Cabbage? Whiner clearly stated President Obama wants the troops to bring back Ebola to the USA. Now here you are defending the lunacy.

  5. Obama may not be the original cause of ebola, but he has facilitated its outbreak by not shutting down any travel that is not vitally necessary between the U.S. and Liberia and other parts of the region ravaged by the epidemic. The same goes for his encouraging illegal aliens to flood over the border as "refugees" and not checking them out medically as per protocol.

    1. How about Obama's appointing an "Ebola czar" who has zero disease management experience? Obama thinks this is all political. He either doesn't really want to solve the problem by making this appointment, which is possibly a political payback of some kind, or else he doesn't recognize the possible danger if we don't get a handle on the disease.

  8. Out of Bounds?? When in the public eye, nothing is out of bounds especially from Obama who is totally incompetent and can't seem to not screw everything that he touches.

  9. No Savage person am I, but to be fair it is not "disgusting" or "out of bounds." People have a right to comment (no first amendment right since it is commercial radio) and make references. No one in the Bay Area complained when people regularly referred to Bush as a Nazi. No one seemed to care when they referred to Romney as Bane from Batman because of his affiliation with Bain the company. At least Ebola and Obama both have 5 letters and end in "a." That is satire. And fair game.

When you use words like "disgusting" it essentially shows how meaningless those words are when the government uses the same term for describing the beheadings of ISIS. I think your use of those terms simply demeans events that actually deserve its use and simply demonstrates a certain impotence of action by the user.

  13. I first heard of Ebola in the novel "Outbreak," by (physician/best selling novelist) Robin Cook. The plot involved the spread of the (real) disease, from the African continent, to the United States. Ronald Reagan was President of the U.S.. Did he "do anything about it?"

There were 4 (real) cases in the U.S., in 1990. It reached our shores from The Philippines. All patients survived. George Herbert Walker Bush was President of
The U.S.. Did he "do anything about it?"

There were outbreaks, contained in African countries, but notable enough to make news around the world, during the terms of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Did they "do anything about it?"

How is the leader of any country supposed to foresee /prevent an infected person from flying into his/her country, especially if that person takes a circuitous route ... I understand that Mr. Duncan flew to Belgium, then to the U.S..

  14. Let's blame it all on the Obama. The GOP, and the right wing nuts love to just pile on this guy and criticize any move he makes, just because that's what he's doing. Meanwhile, they offer absolutely zero tangible alternative and have no spokesperson or candidate that they can offer who would be considered Presidential timber. All the conservatives do these day is whine, complain and bitch about "liberals,' progressives and socialists." According to them, Obama was born in Africa, and is a Muslim sympathizer who is also a socialist. I'd almost laugh at that hilarious tripe if it weren't so pathetic! Where do these people come from? I guess there are a lot of loonies living in this country.

    1. In a situation like this, he is the sitting President of the US and deserves blame. When patient one came here, I remember thinking if Russia or China were knowingly allowing entry to people of West Africa...probably not. The Obama administration could not put on a successful yard sale let alone respond to a crisis of this potential.

  16. Defensive liberals are SO funny!

First off Savage is late to the game. Alex Jones has been using the term "President Ebola" for a few weeks. But I don't expect much original thought from Savage anyway.

However regardless of origin - the name fits.

Now I know that all you defensive liberals will post your predictable responses - bigot, misinformed, blah blah blah... The truth is that you left behinds are the first ones to run and hide under the bed until the coast is clear. Obama has weakened our nation with his policies of division and now is willingly importing a deadly virus to further his socialist goals of inferior healthcare for all who are not part of the ruling class. Soon we won't have to worry about our borders as nobody will want to come to the USA for fear of contracting ebola.

Instead of posting snarky comments why not get your lefty ass out to Dallas or one of the other soon to be hot zones and volunteer your unskilled services. I wonder when President Ebola will go to Dallas? I hear it's nice in November!

As for the comment that people listen to savage; not the other way around. Check his ratings. Not that many are. fortunately clueless radio owners have few options, hence why they're going out of business.

  18. If Obama stopped flights the talking heads would say he's causing a panic and limiting freedom.

If Obama insisted on strict medical tests for anybody coming in from Africa, they would accuse him of using the data for illegal surveillance.

If Obama suggested that the Texas hospital at the middle of these cases wasn't handling it properly and that the federal government was taking over, he would be overstepping his bounds as part of Obamacare and implementing Death Panels.

If Obama lets his appointed officials collect data and speak to health experts on how to approach the problem, he's causing the Ebola spread.

The dude can't win with a certain section of people. And let's not forget that in between blaming Obama for Ebola, FOX had Ann Coulter on the other day to discuss how we should be infecting immigrant children with Ebola and sending them back to their home countries to spread it and open up space so Americans can open resorts. FOX News: able to come up with something to be outraged about everything Obama does in between saying the worst possible things you've ever heard.

  19. Alright. Enough of this bullshit. There are currently TWO people in the US with Ebola. Two is an OUTBREAK? Will 5 be a PANDEMIC?

Quit blathering your uneducated scare tactics to foment unrest and panic, and do your listeners a SOLID by educating them, rather than keep them in ignorance and scaring them for nothing.

    1. Seems that ignorance is bliss. According to NBC, there are FOUR people with Ebola in the US. There have been a total of 8 Ebola patients treated in the US. Two contracted the disease while in the US. Five individuals plus Dr. Nancy Snyderman's film crew are under mandatory quarantine. 74 people are being monitored for symptoms and 75 more have been asked not to travel. Then there are all of the people that those people have come into contact with. Does it actually have to turn into an epidemic before you will believe that the threat is real? I suspect that if you were one of those affected, you would have a different opinion.

And it's easy to confuse Obama with Ebola. Both are African and are capable of making a lot of Americans sick.
