Hey, Ronnnnn Owens Is Finally Talking About Ebola On KGO, Hallelujah

Yeah, after spending hours on his usual potpourri of dogs and gadgets, it's good to know he finally decided to "tackle Ebola" with the usual bullshit Emily from Pleasanton.

Thanks Ronnnnnnnnnnn. Hallelujah

  1. If he knew someone Israeli who had it we'd hear about it every day. I'm sure he'll blame Obama soon enough.

    1. Unfair comment, and sound a bit anti-Semitic. Ronn has been critically of Obama many times, but he always explains way, he has also supporter the president at times, he is not predictable in his critic of Obama, like Levin, Hannity and Savage, give credit where credit is due.

  3. Has there ever been a luckier non conservative host in history? We know the companies promote the right wing hosts but everyone else in the business needs ratings. Owens hasn't had ratings in years and he has no excuse for failure since his time slot never changed on KGO. I cannot believe this bore continues to get paid.

    1. Ronn at times choose subject that are bland, or at least to me not that interesting. However, he still does a damn good interview and when he talks about interesting subjects I think his show is good, especially compared to what we have to choose from these days. You want boring think Corey and Joel, Gil, Sussman (besides being boring his show is juvenile and asinine). John Rothmann was on 910 this am from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and when I found out I changed from Ronn to John, but then John has always been my favorite. I find Rush boring, he is just so predictable, so is Hannity for the most part, like Tom Sullivan and can't stand Levin, he too is predictable, at least Hannity at times seem to have a sense of humor, when Savage isn't bashing democrats, liberals and Obama he is listenable.
And to 10:50 you are right Ronn talked about ebola earlier in the week, and I believe last week as well. Tom Sullivan who is a conservative host, has not followed other conservatives and gone into panic mode. Listen to Glenn Beck and you would think the world is coming to an end in the next 6 months or so, and it is ALL Obama's faults. Some guy called into Tom Sullivan's show saying he was 100% convinced Obama on purpose made sure the ebola virus got here, that he was a traitor, and wanted nothing more than to destroy this country, and he should be impeached NOW. The listener said he would prefer Biden over Obama, sounds racist to me, even Sussman who cannot find one redeeming quality in Obama, does not want Biden instead. I didn't like (as president, thought he was probably a good husband, father and son) Bush, or Nixon but never did I think that the deliberately wanted to destroy the US, also did not care for Reagan, didn't have a real problem with Bush the elder or Ford, since I'm liberal, they didn't speak for me, but I felt both were decent honest (especially Ford) caring individuals doing their best, also did not care for Carter, even when I agreed with him there were something about his personality I did not care for, same for Reagan, although I rarely agreed with his stands on issues.

  4. That's funny because he talked about it on Tuesday. And you won't post this like every other post that goes against your point. Keep being a wannabe Liebermannnnnnn

    1. I agree with @10:54, Lieberman routinely presents inaccurate claims, like this one about Ronn Owens, and then censors out any comments that correct him.

  5. "Ya know, I just can't support this President anymore. First it was the IRS, then Benghazi, then it was Syria and the red line, and we had Israel. Now he's giving people Ebola? I mean, when does it end? I just can't support him on this. I wonder if Romney would have cured Ebola? I'll take your calls on it. We have 24 open lines..."

  6. Holy crap, that's a scary picture of Ronn Owens. He looks like a mentally ill homeless man wandering on 6th and Market.

IIRC, Rush Limbaugh said he likes the Chronicle because while other newspapers published the worse picture of him they can find, the Chron printed a nice picture of him.

    1. He looks tired and beat up, like someone who's hanging on for the money.

I can't imagine him needing money this badly. Maybe he is waiting to be fired so he can sue.

  8. Why do you listen to that idiot if you do not like him at all?
Lieberman you have the intelligence of a marble.

  9. Hey, ain't that the guy that use to be on "Crimiinal Minds"?

  10. Whoa!!! Who’s that in the picture? Is that Grumpelstiltskin? The talk show host who fell asleep under a microphone stand for twenty minutes and woke up grumpy. The one who spins his words creating gold from verbiage that numbs the mind more than a 12 oz bottle of cough syrup?

But seriously, where would we all be without him? Fuzzy creatures and fairy tales are always entertaining, especially between 9 and 12 in the morning.

  11. Ronn reads your posts religiously each day Rich and bears no ill will toward you. IN fact, with the exception of what you occasionally muse about him, he finds your posts amusing.

  12. Ronn does sound like one lucky son of a gun. He hit The City before AIDS, he probably partied like a rock star, he has repeatedly admitted to being a big stoner in his younger years, he studied a weak major in college (sociology), and then he eventually ends up making a million smackers a year on a liberal station that was virtually all white males... quite ironic. Then he buys a place in the Marina before prices were sky high, probably had everybody and their mother buying him meals, drinks, goodies, not to mention free mattresses ... and then when he starts to slow down he has a family. What a life.

He sometimes goes in for the McTopic, but I loved it when he finally admitted what a disaster Obama has been. But why couldn't he see that from Day 1?
