Some of you may not remember Ms. Vicki had a stint at KFRC way back in the 70's--she's the lady, second from the right, standing next to Mike Sugarman.

  1. Neither Sugarman nor Liviakis have changed much. And that's a good thing.

  4. I wonder if that was the day Mick Jagger broke Sugarman's glasses?

    1. Remember that incident well....Sugarman sticks a mike into Mick Jagger while he's eating lunch at Le Central. Mick grabs Mike's glasses and mangles them. Don't blame Mick in the least.

  5. I thought that was her on the far left.

  6. Late 1970's? That would put her in her late 50's or 60's? She looks at least a decade younger. Good genes or good docs?

    1. She graduated from Cal in '79, though I think she was a year or so older than the typical 22 yr/old, so she is probably 58-ish.

  7. The most beautiful woman at KRON!

  8. HELL YA! She just gets better with age. Unlike the botoxer (Jennings) on ABC7.

  9. Vicki is very attractive. When she does that Henry type spots you can see how tall and lean she is. I wouldn't be surprised if she was a volleyball or basketball player type back in college.

  10. Look at the size of Jagger's head. Merv was right.

  11. Back in the "Doctor Don" days at KFRC. Vicki was cute; Sugarman had hair on his head and none on his face! Mick looks like he was in the end phase of a looooong bender!

  12. San Francisco was such WONDERFUL town to be a straight guy!!!

Rich - spin up Frank Sinatra and "The Summer Wind". 3rd and Townsend, watching the secretaries headed for the afternoon fleet, the pigeons, the smell of pop corn, the one armed newsman with the beret firing newspapers at the passing executives.

There was a very lovely KSOL DJ who rode those trains.....Oh the stories! :)

San Francisco... The KSFO "Sound of the City" - The Johnny Mann Singers.
